Our Access Groups

Optua has two Access Groups which cover the Mid Suffolk and Suffolk Coastal local authority areas. These groups have experience in the specific needs of disabled people, such as wheelchair users and those with sensory impairments. The groups advise developers on new schemes, consult with and advise local authorities on access issues, and provide assistance to those who want to improve the access to their buildings such as village hall committees or parochial church councils.

Optua does not undertake formal 'access audits' but will provide an informed and unbiased opinion as to how buildings can be improved to facilitate their use by all disabled people.
