Optua UK - Community Brain Injury Services
The services Optua UK provides
Optua UK currently provide four types of service:
- 1. Supported Housing. In conjunction with three Housing Associations, we manage four supported housing schemes for adults with ABI in Suffolk. These provide clients with a tenancy to their own accommodation within the unit, along with 24-hour specialist support available on site. (Currently Suffolk only).
- 2. Outreach Support. Tailor-made packages of support delivered by a team of specialist support workers across Suffolk and Shropshire. Packages range from two hours a week to 24 hours a day.
- 3. Case Management Coordination. Specialist management input across Suffolk and Shropshire and surrounding areas, enabling clients to manage their own affairs and design their own support, providing guidance and support to Support Teams as required.
- 4. Restart. A bespoke day activity project for people with ABI, offering personalised opportunities for meaningful activity within the community. (Currently Shropshire only). Click here for more details.
The Department of Health has identified our Community Brain Injury Services as an example of good practice under Quality Requirements 7 and 8 of the National Service Framework for Long Term Conditions.
