There are lots of possible fundraising events that you, your company or your school could organise that would help raise funds for Optua. A small collection is listed below but please do contact us with your ideas.

Sponsored Events
There are many organised sponsored events throughout the year that you could take part in or you could organise your own. Organised sponsored events include: the London Marathon (or one at any number of other major cities), the Whole Hog events, abseiling down a large building such as Ipswich Maternity Block, driving challenge events and many more.
If you are planning to attend an event in aid of Optua please contact us and we can set up a Just Giving page for you which makes collecting sponsorship online very easy.
For your own sponsored events you could try: sponsored silence (one for all the chatterboxes out there!), sponsored fast, sponsored abstinence from chocolate or caffeine, sponsored walk, sponsored run!
Fundraising Events
In addition to being sponsored, other events can be fundraisers in their own right such as a 'Pamper Evening' or you could have a home shopping evening with friends where the commission comes to your favourite charity instead of receiving commission in goods.
For the more ambitious there are dress down days, charity concerts or maybe you have a play and would like to donate the proceeds from one of the shows?

Corporate Sponsorship
There are many events throughout the year where corporate sponsorship would be appropriate. There is also the potential to sponsor our News and Views publication. If you are a company interested in our target audience then please contact us for information about corporate sponsorship.
