Trips and events for 2008

Fun for everyone! Mersea Island Festival - August 2008

We have places available for a five day inclusive festival of fun and camping on Mersea Island this August.

Running from Sunday 17th to Friday 22nd August, the festival involves camping at Mersea Outdoor Adventure Centre and taking part in a wide range of fun activities including water skiing, climbing, archery, fishing, dacning, circus skills and live music. The centre and activities are accessible for disabled people.

The cost is £210 for adults and £185 for anyone under 18. We would really like to fill the remaining spaces for this great opportunity so please contact us as soon as possible on 01473 836770 if you, or someone you know, is interested!

21 August - A trip to Southwold by wheelchair accessible coach. Pick-up Points: Bury, Stowmarket, Ipswich, Woodbridge and Saxmundham.

£12 per person to cover transport costs. Please note you will need to book and pay for your place by no later than Thursday 24 July.

Ipswich Town Football Matches

We will be running trips to the following home Ipswich Town matches this season:

• Tuesday 30 September — Ipswich V Barnsley. 7.45pm kick off.
• Tuesday 28 October — Ipswich V Charlton. 7.45pm kick off.
• Saturday 29 November — Ipswich V Sheffield Utd. 3pm kick off.
• Wednesday 10 December — Ipswich V Bristol City. 7.45pm kick off.

The cost per match is £16.50. We can also provide transport from the Stowmarket area for £7 and volunteer support is available at every match.

6 September - Trip to Africa Alive, Kessingland, African Animal Adventure by wheelchair accessible coach. Pick-up Points: Bury, Stowmarket, Ipswich, Woodbridge and Saxmundham.

22 October - London Aquarium by wheelchair accessible coach. Pick-up Points: Ipswich, Stowmarket and Bury.

3 October - 'Little Shop of Horrors' at The New Wolsey Theatre in Ipswich (Show begins at 7.45pm)

Travel by wheelchair accessible minibus with pick up points at Stowmarket, Needham Market and Ipswich. Cost is £17 per person, and carers £7. Bookings and payment to be received by Friday 29 August.

18 November - Lakeside Shopping by wheelchair accessible coach. Pick-up Points: Ipswich, Stowmarket and Bury.

The perfect chance to do your Christmas Shopping! Cost is £22 per person. Bookings and payment to be received by Tuesday 7 October.

18 December* Thursford Christmas Spectacular Christmas show with entertainment including music, singing and dancing. *Please note: We are awaiting confirmation of our tickets for this event, and have been advised that we should receive confirmation by the end of April. Please understand that this is beyond our control.
