The service runs several regular activities for disabled people, including the popular weekly Big Splash supported swimming sessions across the county.
Other regular activities include activity groups, weekly football sessions in Mid Suffolk and a weekly Monday Club which offers a wide range of sports activities throughout the day at Stowmarket Leisure Centre.
Taster sessions in activities such as sailing, archery, cycling and rifle shooting are organised throughout the year, along with outings to events such as football matches, concerts and to local places of interest.
Big Splash swimming sessions run every week as follows
Volunteers and carers swim at all Big Splash sessions for free. We need more volunteers for all sessions so if you can help contact us on 01473 836770.
Bury St Edmunds Cinema Club
The cinema club meets on the first Tuesday of every month from 6pm. It's a chance for disabled people to get together to watch a film at Cineworld in Bury St Edmunds. Advance booking is essential so please call Laura to register on 01473 836770. The cost to watch the film is £4.40 per person. Plus £5 for transport.
Monday Club
Mondays at Mid Suffolk Leisure Centre for a packed day of activities:

Active Antics
Weekly sporting activities such as carpet bowls, boccia, badminton, short tennis, cricket, table tennis and basketball.

Tuesday Club
Every Tuesday at Haverhill Leisure Centre

Activity Goups in Needham Market
First four Tuesdays of every month at Needham Market Community Centre

Suffolk Disabled Anglers Forum
The Suffolk Disabled Anglers Forum (SDAF) was set up by Optua Leisure, the Environment Agency and the National Federation of Anglers. The SDAF provides access to fishing in a supported environment for disabiled people.
Volunteers are also on hand at each session as well as experienced anglers to offer advice. No experience is necessary and for more details call one of the following contacts:
