Disability Sport Coach Bursary Scheme

We are now running a Disability Sport Coaching Bursary scheme in partnership with Suffolk County Council and Suffolk Sport.

The scheme aims to create 50 new or better qualified disability sports coaches in Suffolk leading up to the London 2012 Paralympics. The bursary scheme is being run by Optua's Suffolk Disability Sport Academy and will financially support people to either become qualified as coaches or to improve their qualifications. This will in turn create better opportunities for disabled people in Suffolk to take part in sport.
