Disability Martial Arts Association
The Disability Martial Arts Association is a wide ranging support network for people with all types of disabilities. The charity has its own website at www.disabilitymartialartsassociation.co.uk.
The new Ipswich Charioteers Wheelchair Football team which was recently launched, will be holding monthly sessions at Copleston High School, Ipswich in 2008.
Sessions are £2 per person and the dates booked for 2008 so far are January 12th, February 23rd, March 29th and April 26th (all Saturdays). West Suffolk Tigers athletics club
West Suffolk Tigers is a new disability athletics club based at Bury St Edmunds Leisure Centre. The club is meeting on the following dates this year in the main hall - 31st October, 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th of November, and 5th December. Launch of I-Sport Suffolk
A new forum to improve local opportunities and raise awareness of sports for people with visual impairments has been launched along with a new multi-sports club for people with a visual impairment. Babergh Athletics Club - Sudbury
An inclusive athletics club available to disabled people up to the age of 15. The club runs every Monday at Sudbury Sports Centre.
